I was having my chest shaved for a bit of surgery yesterday when I noted the nurse's job could have been worse - at least I didn't have Sean Connery's chest hair. What followed was a talk of our favorite roles, ending with the observation that he might not be acting any more, but at least he's still around to enjoy his well-earned retirement. It's sad to think he's gone...

.... he was an actor who did not take himself seriously. When you get to be over-the-top James Bond it provides some perspective on the real you, IMO.
An early B&W film of his "The Hill" is worth tracking down.

Not to upset anyone, but almost five years before that famous line was delivered, Craig Stevens used the line Gunn... Peter Gunn in the American TV series Peter Gunn.
