Was listening to some Led Zeppelin with the children and some Def Leppard.
This happened last November and I posted it on FB, but still relevant:

So here I am, sitting in the parking lot with the radio going while I'm checking my shopping list and a girl in the car next to me asks what is the song that's playing.
I said "Trampled Underfoot" and she says "oh my god, is this a new song by Greta Van Fleet??" and I said "no, it's by Led Zeppelin".
She stared at me and said "who?"

I shook my head and rolled up my window...

This being Easter Weekend, I thought I would post this, "Seven Last Words", written in 1867 by Theodore Dubois. This was recorded in Boston's Symphony Hall, its superb acoustics enhancing the great vocal performances. Reginald Foort plays the mighty Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ. The piece starts off slowly, quietly but builds as is progresses. At "It is finished", the moment Jesus dies on the cross is a dynamic, thunderous performance. This music really deserves to be played on a good stereo system and loud!
