Clearing a sea-lane: artist unknown

A Wellington DW I with a two ton electromagnetic hoop triggers a German magnetic mine. To be effective, such 'magnetic hoops' had to skim close to the water, but planes that flew too low were sometimes damaged by the mines they exploded.
