Shown here is a Fokker E-11, flown by Leutnant Kurt Wintgens whilst flying with Fl.Abt.67. He scored 18 confirmed victories and was awarded the Ordre Pour Le Merite on 1 July 1916. He was shot down and killed on 26 September 1916, by the French Ace Alfred Hertaux.
