Shownn here is the newly commissioned HMS Bentinck (ex-DE-52) oiling before departure from the USA. Note large ensign; crows nest and twin 40 mm Bofors are already fitted. The fresh paint scheme is a Western Approaches pattewrn, sea blue over light grey (US Navy shades in this case). Note how the blue area is painted over the boat-topping (MoD).
