Shown here is HMS Rupert (ex-DE-96) arriving at Plymouth, 10 October 1945. RN 25 ft motor boat without canopy has been substituted for the original USN motor whaleboat. North Atlantic alterations are complete in this ship, with two single 20 mm Oerlikons in Bofors position, shield and 2" rocket projectors on 'B' gun, outing bulges forward. Note anchor 'a cock bill' for entering harbour and callsign flying.
