Shown here is HMS Dunedin alongside the German tanker Lothringen, 15 June 1941. Guided by Enigma decrypts and working with HMS Eagle, Dunedin captured Bismarck's tanker without the German High Command even noticing. Two U-boats turned up two days later hoping to be refuelled, but were forced instead to return home.
