A good view aft aboard Ekins shows the limiting rails which prevented the guns depressing or training on a dangerous bearing. Port and starboard can be seen stowages for scrambling nets on 'B' gundeck screen. There are four single 20 mm Oerlikons forward of the bridge. 'B' gun and the Oerlikons are partially manned here at 'cruising stations'. Note the single electric capstan/cable holder which worked both port and starboard cables, being clutched in as required.
