Close up of the Astrograph image projection screen. The light resides behind the glass and projects the image of the star chart that is positioned across the glass lens. There is one star chart actually installed here, but you may not be able to see it as it is black print on clear acetate. The chart is pulled across the lens to reveal the next sky view in continuum by rotating the knobs on the side.
