I need help identifying this aircraft. By looking at it, I would guess it's a Grumman design, most likely a late war torpedo bomber. But I'm only guessing.
With a little luck and searching, I found it by the N-number. It's a Grumman AF Guardian anti-submarine aircraft. Had a feeling it was a Grumman. It remained in service until August 1955, when it was replaced by the twin engine Grumman S-2 Tracker. Funny, I never knew what came before the S-2. I've never seen one before.
