Shown here are the Light cruiser KMS Leipzig and the heavy cruiser KMS Prinz Eugen still locked together many hours after the collision, this view shows a number of points of technical interest. Prinz Eugen has received an interim flak modernisation - here two twin 2cm LM44 mountings are visible on the forecastle and a 4cm flak 28 Bofors on "B" turret. Leipzig has had a vierling added atop the admiral's bridge, FuMo 25 (large) aerial and above that the smaller FuMB "Palau" frame. two, possibly three FuMB 4 "Sumatra" frames are mounted opn the foretop.
