Mosquito bomber in storage Mildura Australia 1974

These were taken in 1974 at a World War 2 aircraft museum. From what I know now the museum is gone. The mosquito was rescued from a farm, but is unable to be restored due to the farmer cutting it up with a chain saw. Whereabouts as of now unknown.

This aircraft is actually a PRXVI A52-600 (formerly NS631) currently at the RAAF Museum at Pt Cook undergoing restoration to static display standard.

Of interest I saw this aircraft at the same place Easter 1974!

I was in Waikerie, about a couple of hundred KM west of Mildura, in March 1980. Had I missed the chance?
