This is La 5 F flown by Baltic Fleet aviation ace Georgi Kostylev. He scored some 40 + victories. This photo was made after the war when the plane was on display at Leningrad museum. Actually during the war the plane sported medium grey and light grey camouflage scheme typical to La, but for some unknown reason repainted dark green by the museum staff.
