Shown here is an aerial view of the USS Rhind (DD-404), showing of her deck arrangements. On the fantail are the depth-charge roller rails; beyond are two 5" mounts, two 40mm mounts (covered), two life rafts, two quadruple torpedo tube mounts, and two 20mm gun tubs just abaft the funnel. K-guns were usually along rails, hedgehogs outboard of bridge superstructure, smoke generatyors on fantail.
