Shown here is Scroggins (DE-799) at Philadelphia Navy Yard, October 1945. The bridge shows modification, and two twin 40 mm Bofors have been added in place of the torpedo tube position. Note the rangefinder for the 3"/50 guns on the bridge. Scroggins is in Measure 22 camouflage (Navy Blue and Haze Gray); inboard of her, by contrast is a 'Rudderow' class DE in the sombre Measure 11 scheme-overall Navy Blue (USN).
