Shown here is a view of the apron at Avro's Woodford factory in early May 1944. The aircraft second in line is Lancaster B.Mk.I, (ME799), built by Metropolitan-Vickers and assembled at Woodford. She was issued to No.103 Sqd in mid-May 1944.
