The bf109f-4 need to know more

Tomo. Those who really want to know can find the GL/A-Rü IA document in the Bama archives in Frieburg. I did. It is an original document issued June 1 , 1942. Don´t understand your comment about it not being a primary document there, sorry. If you want to be serious, yYou cannot just disregard...

The bf109f-4 need to know more

Hi Tomo I agree with most of your writings there. Just a couple of remarks. The 670km/h figure for the F-4 (notleistung) was in fact corrected and is the final top speed figure. Supported by the "hard" data we all like to see. Pls see GL/A-Rü IA This particular issue also asserted by kurfurst...

    Bf 109 G-10 vs K-4

Very simplified, a G-14 is a G-6 with a DB605AS or AM engine. The G-14 belongs to the G series (Gustav) design. The K is a design model of its own with many significant differences compared to any G model. The high mark of the G series was actually the G-10 not the G-14.

    Bf 109 G-10 vs K-4

Retractable tail wheel with cover doors. On the G-2s a semiretractable tail wheel was known to be good for 12km/h at s/l versus a fixed tail wheel. The difference in drag between the large fixed tail wheel of a G-10 and the fully retractable and completely covered tail wheel of a K-4 ought to be...

    Most Beautiful Aircraft

The most beautiful plane of WWII for me are the P51D. A sleek flying hot rod killer... High on my list would also be the Bf109E for its pure evil look and the Me262 for its high speed look of the time...

I am not here to seek "credibility" as you seem to think. I see no reason for You to lecture me on anything. YOU should stick to the topic in thread and try to contribute in positive way instead. Then you will have my respect. You want to continiue this crap, do it in a private message to me.

    Late 1941 - late 42: Bf-109 vs. Fw-190

I believe the Rechlin test you mentioned was actually 650km/h and the plane had a fixed tail wheel reducing the speed some 12km/h. So the 662km/h at 1.3ata seems accurate. Well unfortunately, the GM-1 nitrous system cannot be part of the explanation of the speed increase. Reason is, the GM-1...

    Late 1941 - late 42: Bf-109 vs. Fw-190

Yes, I would agree that 640km/h for the G2 seems low for full boost (1.42ata). That speed seem more likely for 1.3ata boost (maybe that is what you mean with derated?). As pointed out by others above , many different sources stated max speed for the G-1 to around 650-662km/h. According to the...

Wow. I asked a simple question and you talk about an attitude problem! Maybe you need to look at yourself for a while? So, do I have to assume You made those piece of papers up or do you have some kind of "source"?:?:
