Great choice ! My 1:72 version the colour call outs are a bit lame. it looks like RLM 81/82 over the fuselage and RLM75/82 over the wings. Am I reading that right ?

Great kit to build and the PE set worked out great for the cockpit. I fumbled one thing. The version I built doesn't use the forward lower gun. I allready glued the PE...
Beauty. I'm dealing with pain on 1:48 harnesses at the moment, I really can't imagine what its like with 1:72 Haha, believe me ! Getting harder and harder !

Engine build. Lots of pieces to put together, I figure around 20, lost count at 14. The very small parts need carefull attention when removing them from the trees. The attatchment points are quite large and the plastic is a bit on the brittle side. I broke a couple of pieces. All and all it fits...
Here is a look at the kit. I built Dragons He162 and their Do335 about 25 years ago. They were great kits and had lots of detail and went together well. I had heard that Dragon had gone out of business so I was surprised to find this kit while looking for a decent F190D kit. Couldn't find one...
Great choice Graham - I was thinking of entering the same kit! BTW, read there are fit issues with the cowls etc, in true Dragon style. I will have cowls open when I do mine to try and avoid that (and of course show off that engine!) Yes, too nice of an engine to hide !
