Some scratch built goodies no doubt.

I've been looking for this kit for a long time. Finally snagged it for a pretty good price, Fits this build category great ! I've built the Mine version of this kit. Italeri kits are great. Still looking hor the He111Z kit !

Off to a start. cockpit and interior ready for paint. I added seat cushions and arm rests along with rudder pedals. Also some cargo scratch built goodies. Won't see much when completed but at least the interior will look a bit less sparse. The wheels are the ones from the kit since I won't be needing them. The bombs ? they were in my spares box.

Well the cockpit and cargo area is completed. Ready to close up the fuselage. I fumbled on the wings. I neglected to drill out the location holes for the floats in my haste to put the wings together. I ended up hot wiring a Christmas LED to a 1.5 volt battery and fishing it into the wing until the holes shone through. Better than trying to split the wing apart !!

e holes shine through

Love the webbing

Ready for paint. I like the winter camouflage scheme. It is a bit odd, the floats are painted 72/73/65 where the fuselage is the usual 70/71/65 with a white wash over it. It looks to have large patches of the white wash eroded away exposing the under lying splinter scheme. Should be fun to paint.
