Hello! I am Cooper.
Being a lover of history, this place seems perfect for me to learn from and engage.
I'm always looking for books and documents on aircraft, and hope to one day build flying replicas of forgotten or less-appreciated planes.
I was born in southern California, but my family fled to Spokane Washington, where I've lived for most of my life. However, I was in CA long enough to get the 'bug,' that drove me into the air world: Me and my father would frequently visit the Planes of Fame museum in Cheno CA, where I learned to love planes, and more specifically; military aviation.
After we moved to Spokane, I did not have many opportunities to visit museums, but we were fortunate enough to live near Felts Field, where annual fly-ins are hosted. Anywhere we traveled, we looked for air museums, and always went when the opportunity was there.
In 2018, I began volunteering at the Honorpoint museum when it opened, and met many very good friends. I became the Dossent, and remained with the museum until its closing. I still keep in contact with my friends, many of whom are retired from incredible careers in the aviation world.
I love building and painting scale models, and am hoping to one day be good enough to produce museum-quality models.
I'm easy to talk to, if a bit slow to respond at times.
