Ok, no pictures yet. I started off with primering the cockpit parts. Getting everything ready for silver then interior green then chipping. So, at least SOME progress made.

I did shoot the sand on the top surfaces. One thing I have discovered is that the Mr Color Leveling Thinner does a very nice job of leveling the paint. I had a couple of small areas where I had some paint "puddling". I decided to let the entire coat dry over night to see what would happen to...

Ok, I got the drop tank mount in place, still need to mask the canopy and mount it as well. This one will be close canopy bird. I did get the sky blue on the sides and underside of the bird. I do like the AK lacquers. Yeah, the box fan in the window is a must.

I spent the weekend taking stock of the existing work and where to pick up the build at. I discovered I am missing a parts tree, but I have another kit on the stack so she becomes a parts mule. So, I will be picking up the glue today and moving on.

Hey, Andy, Yeap, the box fan will go in my window as well. I find that helps quite a bit. To everyone else, thank you for the warm welcome back.

Thanks, Fubar!

Damn, that engine is a h=kit by itself.

Hey, Guys, Sorry for the slow updates. Work and life have been busy. I am making good progress on the cockpit. I did add some detail to breaker panel by adding some stretched sprue for the wiring. I tried using idea wire but it kept folding over on me. I a just about done with the floor sub...

Yeah, munch was inaccurate. He doesn't even gobble. It seems he INHALES things. I have to keep reminding myself that he is still a puppy at 10 months old. A 70lb puppy. I am not MAD about this. Of course, I am not happy.

So many options and ideas. I do like (in no particular order): 1) No propellers - any jet from any time frame (I have a few I really want to select from) 2) Something to include anything from the Spanish Civil War (I have an ICM Hs-126 I really want to build) 3) Love the one trick pony idea...

Well, this build just crashed and burned. Henry munched down some fiddly bits I had saved off in a bowl. I am not sure what is missing yet. I know the turbochargers are gone, the seat, the radios, and some landing gear bits. I know there is more, but it will take me more than a few days to...

They seem to be scattered across a few sprues. I use a set of not cheap sprue cutters for those small bits and I rarely break any small parts as long as I am paying attention to what I am doing.
