I realize that this is an Aircraft forum, but I was drawn to the site from a person who had wrote a book about 3D modeling, and he was looking for folks to review his work. Someone on that thread saw my post, and my work, and suggested I post something here. I 3D print historical Locomotives...

As one who does the type of modeling you are talking about, I have one major request. Sketchup is not the best program to use for modeling that needs to be output to a 3D printer. I know this from experience, because I used to model exclusively in SU. Onshape, which is a web based free program...
