I realize that this is an Aircraft forum, but I was drawn to the site from a person who had wrote a book about 3D modeling, and he was looking for folks to review his work. Someone on that thread saw my post, and my work, and suggested I post something here. I 3D print historical Locomotives from original build records, and I donated 100% of the finished product and my time to railroad museums. The following photo albums are step by step photos of the entire process. I hope you enjoy them.

#1 "Avila" on the Pacific Coast Railway in San Luis Obispo CA.: Avila - Locomotive Progress Photos.
#2 "John Harford" on the Pacific Coast Railway: John Harford - Locomotive Progress Photos.
#101 On the Pacific Coast Railway: Pacific Coast Railways #101
I just completed the John Harford, and I am now onto the #101 I have been commissioned by the museum to do a total of 6 of the Locomotives that ran on the narrow guage line starting in 1873.

I'm the guy who wrote the book and your work is spectacular. I'd like to connect with you to learn more about your work, what printer, software, background, etc. There is a messaging capability on this site I believe so we don't have to hijack the nature of the site (although I have done so occasionally.) BTW: the book's going back for more editing after my daughter finally got a chance to look at it. She's a much better editor than I am. I write from the seat of my pants and don't pay as much attention to keeping my tenses straight or whether I'm writing in first or second person. That's what editors are for. I did put the book on Apple Books just to test how it would work. You can see it by going here: Apple Books and then searching for my last name; Marcovitch.

I would love to correspond with you. Can you direct me to the messaging area, or send a message to me and I will reply. Look forward to talking. Thanks

Just move the cursor over his nick or avatar on the left of his post. A pop-up tab will appear where you find the Start Conversation button. Hit it and the page for writting and sending a message will be open.
