I'm a huge fan of the vehicle and have only found a basic manual.

Did you ever discover the s/n of Cobbers "Paddy III"
I did find this ( Incident Hawker Hurricane Mk 1 P2543, 26 Mar 1940 ) but its still not clear as its thought "Paddy II was an early L prefix Hurricane.
Very interested in what you might have discovered.

We have Hurricane MK IIC LF 686 and are always trying to make her as complete as possible.
To that end we are trying to make her stencils accurate and one issue is the correct Air ministry makings for the fuselage fuel tank.
