Thanks for reminding me Wayne, I've got the black bars on already but il just remove them. I think I saw some red and black ones on a sheet last time I was browsing squadron's website. It wouldn't hurt to have some spare Luftwaffe decals anyway, just in case I muck one up in the future :)
Does anyone know what serial number was painted on 5819's engine? And if it was yellow or white? I'll have more pics up this week. Been busy this holiday season, but I've finally gotten to the decal phase. Wish me luck
I didn't think of that. I think a length of paper clip would work great. Are there certain things the masters on here do to ensure a straight and sturdy attachment of fiddly landing gear? I quite possibly could have rushed it, maybe this time I will make sure and do one side at a time, allowing...
thanks for the kind words :) the color seems a little off in the pictures, looks better in person. I will resize the pictures when I post some more updates tonight. I couldn't upload them to my computer from my phone it seems it wouldn't recognize the device. Oh well. I will try to fix this so...

Nevermind the overdone exhaust stains hehe
Broken missing barrel
Also, I will capture the gear so you all can see if it's repairable or not, but good lord was I having a rough go at getting those things to stay straight and sturdy!
This is 1/48, the only scale I've ever done as far as planes go, other than 1:1. Guess I forgot to mention the most important part! Anyway, she's been pushed into the hanger till I can get ahold of new legs. I've started on my eduard 109E4 and il post pics up tomorrow(Friday) as I work from 8pm...
Great job on your 109! I'm currently building an Eduard E4. May I ask what plane you are posing with in these last pics? It sure looks beautiful. I'm a painter at Hawker Beechcraft, but I didn't recognize this prop plane, was thinking maybe a Cessna or Leerjet but didn't know if either produced...
