Cool pics, but not the ones I was looking for. It was a USAAF P-51, there were hangers and aircraft in the background, looked like Europe/Med.
Thanks anyway.... :D
It was kinda funny, my mouse locked up mid-scroll and all I could see was P-40! I almost crapped, puked, screamed and had a heart attack all at the same time, then I realised......
You almost killed me, you b*stard!, that wasn't funny at all!!

Yep, you've pretty much nailed it, but it's still a different aircraft. Not like the RAF Chinooks which are just basically stretched....
I'm not trying to be funny, or nasty it's just that I wanted to point out the facts, I don't want to fall out with anyone over this.
I'll shut up now.
I think you may be right, mid '44 is more realistic, and is was for all of the reasons pointed out above, plus the f*ck you aspect that chedder cheese has just mentioned. Basically this late on in the war they didn't bother with camo on the aircraft metioned above, because quite frankly they...
I told you it was a jolly green! When I said it wasn't a Sea King I was on about the RAF/RN Westland built Sea King, it is still a Sikorsky but looks bugger all like a jolly green.
And "the helicopter guy" DerAdlerIstGelandet was wrong with his comment because he put up a picture of the...
I would just like to point out that backing up what Flyboyj has just said, that most US aircraft destined for the ETO post '44 were not painted at all (outer surfaces) such as Mustangs, Fortresses, Thunderbolts.
Sweet! thanks Fab, I already own the first 3 games, just wanted to know if I't was worth buying! All they need now is the Mohawk/Hawk-75, Mosquito Vengeance! (I'm a bit of a CBI buff/geek) :P
There is no way that that is a freakin' Sea King it is too long in the body and it's tail is the wrong shape! It may not be a Jolly Green either but I have seen enough Sea Kings in my time to know it isn't one. It is definatley a Sikorsky job, but what is it? The tail end looks like a J/G which...
