    We share a similar story fanghawk, I got back into modelling after a 30 year layoff and still struggle to meet group build deadlines :thumbright: and build consistently due to family, work, and general life commitments. I would encourage you to put your toe in the water with a build thread...

    A nice job on this one Andy, bummer about the canopy issues. You can always replace the cracked canopy later when you can be arsed.

    Sorry if I was being ambiguous Geo, no need to let the decals set overnight before applying softener. Just do what you normally do, the milky appearance will disappear by the next day.

    Hmm, bummer, fogging after Future treatment is unusual. Can you remove the part, strip it with IPA, and then polish if necessay?

    Looking very nice Geo. I've found that milky effect is a reaction between decal setting solution and the clear varnish. It seems to occur sporadically where setting solution is applied particularly heavily or the varnish coat is not fully cured. It goes away overnight and doesn't seem to leave...
