Hi Wurger
As far as I can see, the kit's shape is mostly wrong in the fin/rudder area. The whole thingy should be scratch re-built, and I guess using a better 190 model (for instance Hasegawa or Tamiya kit) would be much easier.
Negative Creep, should you use default Academy decals or replacement stuff from dedicated sheets, the best way to have your decals stay in place is:
-first apply them on shiny or smoothed camo paint, and use decalcote when applying.
-then overspray the whole model with either matt or...
I guess most online games are now on v4.04, 4.05, or 4.08, and maybe your version (3.0) is not played online anymore.
For skins, go here: Canon's IL2 Skins Really great stuff.
For update patches, go here: Pacific Fighters | Ubisoft
Be careful to install all patches in numerical order (you...

And thanks for the tips. Definitely scratch building is the way to learn the best modelling techniques.
Hi all; my squad, JG57, has just moved to IL2FB. I can see lots of nice german birds in your signatures. Would any of you like to join our squad? or d'you currently fly in a squad that would be likely to fly missions with us?
Hi all, I grab this occasion to post shots of my Bf109G6's. My squad, JG57, has just moved to IL2FB. We are looking for pilots, and/or Luftwaffe squads to fly with.
Very nice work and tutorial!
Gerar, you could also use your scratch models parts as masters and vacuform plastic parts from them; that way you could keep your masters to make several models out of them or sell part sets for guys who would like to build the same aircraft, considering the SM71...
Thanks; we'll soon play a Blitzkrieg CFS campaign including Battle of France.
We're starting a whole Euro/North-Africa WWII campaign for CFS1 starting from Spanish Civil War to the fall of Berlin. Such a huge project is feasable with CFS1 as lot of stuff already exists and is rather easy to...
