Range of Fw-190 and specifically Fw-190A5/u8 with 2 drop tanks
Anyone have any information about what the range was of the Fw-190A. The William Green book I've had since I was a kid was 500 miles on internal fuel. Any information specifically about the Fw-190A5/U8?- Hardrada55

How far could you get a Spitfire XIV/XVIII to go?
The Spitfire XIVE had 142.5 UKG (171.1 USG/647.8l) of internal fuel. The Spitfire XVIII had 175.5 UKG (210.8 USG/797.8l) of internal fuel. If fitted with drop tanks, like the experimental IX the USAAF modified, could you get a XIV/XVIII to Berlin and back?
