A drop tank fell in the forest of Rosheim (Alsace) near Molsheim during WW2, and is still there because a tree grew in it.
It is not from a German plane as shown by the fixation system, could it be from a P51?
The only markings left are control punches on the brass rings holding the fuel tube...
