13.2 mm Type 3 synchronized rate of fire

Hi all,
focusing on Browning M2 derivatives in their synchronized installations, I was unable to find any datum about rate of fire reduction of this weapon when synchronized (e.g.: A6M5 from "Otsu" onward).

I have searched online for this for years and never found anything.

SWAG: 3000rpm (combat) divided by 2.23 reduction gear (P-39N&Q) = 1345rpm for the propeller. Figuring 720 rounds per minute (uninterrupted) for the M2, the propeller spins 1.86rpm per round. Assuming the synchronization gear can send one electrical impulse per revolution (not part of a revolution) then it would be set to send the impulse every two revolutions so 1345rpm divided by 2 = 672 rounds per minute fired.
If that figure is optimistic (if the M2 won't cycle a round that quickly) then figure an impulse every three prop revolutions 1345rpm divided by 3 = 448 rounds per minute.

I have no idea if this is accurate, just the best I can come up with. Hope this helps.

I fear you missed the object of this thread: I was speaking of Japanese 13.2 mm machine gun mounted in fuselage of A6M5b and "c" subvariants of the Zero.
Any other "expert" out there? (Reading topic is warmly recommended before posting)

My apology, I saw "Browning M2" and started typing. Thanks for the correction. Although the formula may be the same if you know the rpm, reduction gear ratio and rate of fire.
