I was just wondering if anybody would be able to help. On the starboard side of Battle of Britain era 603 squadron Spitfires, did the squadron codes "XT" appear to the LEFT of the roundel (ie first) or were they under the cockpit on both sides of the aircraft as illustrated in the attached profile?
