Great interview.

I wonder if Kartveli's absolute passion for clean lines was the PRIME reason that the P-47 wing pylon and fuel feed modifications were 15 months behind the P-51 and 21 months behind the P-38? I have seen suggestions to that effect, but Sanator seems to confirm at least the mindset of Kartiveli.
