I worked some on the F-105 in the 1970's and a few years ago I thought to myself, "What were we thinking when we built that beast?"

That was Vic Vizcarra's Thud! He was one of the very first pilots of the Wild Weasel version of the F-105. You should look him up - amazing stories.
