HHello everyone,
While spending a long time searching for the information on gunsights used by A4Ds / A-4s series, It led me to this forum several times. Therefore, decided to registry and post here. It is my goal to find accurate gunsight and the reticle used in each variant of A4Ds / A-4s. I realize this is WWII era, and I thought I might still want to try asking about post war / early cold war aircraft equipment.
If this forum is still strictly only about WWII, my apologies, I will remember the rules from now on.
The purpose of finding the information, is for personal library / collection (hobbies) and modding projects for simulation (Strike Fighter 2 at the moment).
If it is possible, I would like information on the gunsight sued by A4D-2N (A-4C), A-4E / F / later variants too.
What I learned is that A4D-1 (A-4A) uses gunsight from WWII era while A4D-2 (A-4B) have improved version of A4D-1's gunsight. Then the later variants of A4Ds / A-4s may have different gunsights.
Thank you and cheers
