I picked an $8 Harbor Freight siphon airbrush to try enamels. It looks like it has a 1/8 fitting.

My normal airbrush is a NEO Iwata. I think it is 1/4 thread

Does anyone know where to get an adapter to use the Harbor freight on the same hose as the NEO?

looking at the manual for my compressor and the airbrush, i need an adapter for 1/8" - 27 NPS to M5 x 0.5 adapter

All you need is the nipple/adapter like that.. Brass Adapter, Male (1/8-27 NPT), Female (1/4-18 NPT) - AGS Company

Yep, most airbrush supply stores will have the right adapter.
Just Google 'airbrush supplies' or similar, and you're sure to find an outlet who will have adapters.

A quick search of Ebay:

Good news, the airbrush came with an M5 to 3/8 NPT adapter. I was able to use a 1/4 Female to 3/8 Female union and a 3/8 Male Male union and attach the fitting the brush came with.

I sprayed a Humbrol paint with the airbrush. Thinned 50/50 with turpentine and the $8 brush worked fine. Its a mess to use the old enamels though.
