65-7962 is a B-17 part number. The title on the 65-7962 drawing is "Segment Assy - Anti-drag ring Top". The -504 on the end specifies a sub-part. The other picture has 15158 on it, and 3-15158 is also a B-17 part number whose title is "Stiffener - Anti-drag ring". If you brush away the dirt, you might see a 3- on the front end of the number. Maybe some other members can explain the anti-drag ring.
