Amelia Earhart's aircraft was a rock formation.

To differentiate from "attack jets". Or "bomber jets".

Now "jet bomber" is more usual, but "jet attack" is not - you would need to add "aircraft" (jet attack aircraft), which is more clumsy than "attack jet".
I think we should go more clumsy. It gives me more to rant about.

♪ By the time we got to Woodstock, we were half a million strong,
And everywhere was a song and a celebration.
And I dreamed I saw the bomber jet planes riding shotgun in the sky,
Turning into butterflies above our nation. ♫
Its all them Canadians' fault! ;)

"Woodstock" is a song written by Canadian-American singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell.

A version by Crosby (A), Stills (A), Nash (B), and Young (C) appeared on their album Déjà Vu in March 1970 and became a staple of classic rock radio and the best-known version of the song in the United States.

Didn't John Denver leave on a jet plane?

Asking for a friend, of course...

☑️.
It's the funnest part.

Just wondering if anyone might agree with my conjecture , that if the aircraft of the Lexington that were discovered very well preserved a few years back , that if Amelia's aircraft is at a similar depth ----- and perhaps a successful intact ditching , that her aircraft might very well be preserved in remarkable condition as well ? Only 4 - 5 years separating the losses .
