Where are the O2 cylinders in the Tr-9? Airfix would have you believe in the fuselage, aft of the rear seat. One model (I hate using those for reference) shows them cross wise , behind the pilot seat, under the rear instrument panels. This sounds more logical from a servicing pespecive.

These are NOT oxygen bottles. They are pneumatic air tanks pressurised by an engine pump. The oxygen cylinder is black and much smaller and mounted on the right wall behind the pilot seat just below the centre window. I believe pneumatic reservoirs are usually mounted vertically on the left wall behind the front pilot seat . On TR9s they were sometimes relocated to the gun bays in the wings especially if extra fuel tanks were being fitted in the fuselage.
