I'm wondering if there are any photographs of this interesting experimental camouflage for this Hurricane? I can find two profile sources but no concrete photos for its existence.

That's a very interesting scheme! It would be great if someone can come up with a photo of it. - One thing, I think the description on the picture is wrong - I don't know of any "Rooklands" associated with aviation in the UK - Its likely to be "Brooklands", which is of course where the Hawker factory was. The same "profile" is found on pictures elsewhere on the net - but the colours vary. Usually, the light grey is a lot lighter, almost white. Making it look like the "dazzle" schemes used on WW1 warships.
