Unfortunately the Quiraing is not in the photo as it has been taken from the viewpoint on the Staffin to Uig road looking South down the Trotternish ridge. If the photographer had turned 180 degrees it would be in the photo as it was taken where the path to the Quiraing starts. Furthest away hill on the right is Beinn Edra where B-17G 44-83325 flew into the cliff face, there are still parts on the lower slope and in the gully. The gully continually has rock falls so care should be taken, nearly been hit each time I've visited it. The impact point is on a ledge accessible from the summit, best to have a rope as it's sketchy to say the least with only small burnt pieces left. To visit the site, drive to Marishader then it is about 3.5Km walk across the moors to the base of Beinn Edra.
