Anyone know type of airplane pictured?

HI, I got two pictures of a plane model from a friend. Someone else built it for him, but he does not know what type it is, and he would like to know. He says it was a plane used as an ambulance by the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War. I'm pretty sure that the markings applied to the model were incorrect, as it mixes Spanish Republican markings with what seem to be French roundels. The plane seems modern enough for a 1930s plane that it should have made it at least into the early stages of WW2. It sort-of looks like an Avro Anson, but has a double vertical stabilizer and a much shorter nose than the Anson. My guess is that it was a French plane that was sold to the Spanish Republican government.

I agree with Sabrejet post. That's the British General Aircraft Ltd (GAL) Monospar ST-25 Universal with the twin fin and twin rudder from 30'.

Judging by the decal markings it is the Azur 1/72 GAL ST-25 Monospar kit. However ... the painting is wrong for the plane. The assembler used wrong decal markings ... the French roundels on wings and the Spanish strips on the fins and rudders. Also the wrong registration code and tricolour banner applied incorrectly at the fuselage that was used for ST-25 Jubilee single fin and tail variant but not for the Universal one. Just as mentioned ... a total mix .

Do you happen to have photos or any other graphics showing the colors and/or markings of the ST-25?
 
If you use the Google you may find may images of the ST-25 plane type. Most of them were of the silver colour. Also these might have the different details.

She appears to be fairly stock standard apart from the structure attached to the pitot/static mast under the starboard wing, and the unusual paint job. That is the Spanish Nationalist (not Republican) version of the plane. I think it was probably captured by the Franco side at the end of the Civil War, and had its markings repainted. Yes, I will look around in Google. Thank you!
