My dad and I, through his personal press, are about to publish the first volume of my friend Joe Bowman's monumental planned three-volume series of USAF Medal of Honor recipients bios. He's covering all 62 recipients, from 1918 to now, with life-to-death comprehensive biographies, with special sections devoted to their MoH actions. Thirty-plus years of research, including the most up-to-date archival research and numerous interviews with the family members and peers of the recipients, and some of the recipients themselves. Each volume contains two appendices dedicated to all of the awards and decorations received by each recipient as well as the official citations for all of those from the U.S., plus endnotes, an extensive bibliography, and an index.
I'd like to get a take on the physical prrof copy by someone in our target audience, who I feel confident is represented by the members of this forum.
I'm north of Greenville, so anyone near Dallas or McKinney is about equally accessible.
We're planning to publish on Thursday, so the sooner I can meet with someone, the better.
Thanks in advance,
Clint
