Good morning all, new member here.

I have an Ash-62, that is missing various parts which are proving difficult to obtain. This engine is non-airworthy and won't fly again, but the hope is to get it running as a static display. Can anyone help with a parts source, or advise if any R-1820 parts are interchangeable?

- Starter/generator
- RH magneto
- Supercharger main shaft
- Fuel pump
- Carburettor

Thanks for any leads, and I look forward to learning from you all.

Hugh

If you want you may try to get a contact with "Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego PZL-Kalisz". They still making parts for the Ash-62IR engines as memo serves.

or if no joy there check out aircraft on the Canadian register because about 15 years ago someone in Canada was re-engining DC-3s with Ash-62's

I agree PZL are probably your best bet but there should be quite a lot of used ASh-62IRs around in various states because the Antonov An-2 uses them and there are a few of those about,. No American engine parts will fit, they are all in inches, the Shvetsovs are all metric.

if you will be satisfied with this parts in non airworthy condition i can check couple possibilities...
Thanks very much for your responses all. Yes please if you could check your sources, non-airworthy parts are fine by me!
