Axle Suport C47/DC3 Skytrain

Hi,
We have as static C47 Skytrain. To prevent damage to the tyres (3000 kg per tyre) we would like to use axle support.
What is/are the best axle support for the C47 and where to get them?

I would guess that these are not commercially available, and museums would make their own.

The Crakow stands are best if you have wing jacks and adapters and someone who knows how to jack the aircraft. Note that those Crakow stands are on concrete slabs.

Alternatively the first questions are

• Do you have wing jacks and adapters and someone who knows how to jack the aircraft. Jacking incorrectly can cause serious damage and more serious injuries. These are not essential but make the job far easier.
• Do you have 2 or 4 of the strut retaining tools? These are not essential but make the job far easier.
• Is the aircraft inside or outside and if inside how much clear space above the cockpit? You only need 6"/15cm
• If outside is it on hardstand (concrete or asphalt) or soft stand (grass or gravel)?
• How often will you need to move the aircraft?
