Thought it said Dewer

Actually, I believe it's "Dowar/Dewar". The penultimate letter looks like an "a". Its shape you can notice by comparing it to the same letter taken from another surnames on this list.

I have to work a little bit more on the third inscription there but I got tired and need a break. But it is not as it was worked out initially.

C(G)...... Tyson
C(G)r......
Cleveland Tyson,
Cranston
Or perhaps it's not the surname "Tyson," but rather a geographical inscription: "Cleveland, Tenn." - Cleveland, Tennessee.

I think that there may be three words in the top line . The military rank started with the C or G and the first name, possible started with A ( I'm getting an impression it is Alex ) and then the last name Tyson. The word below the name is the town he came from started with C or G.
Certainly it can be alse the given name and the surname only in the first line. But why there is the second big letter there ?

Мне нужно еще немного поработать над третьей надписью, но я устал и мне нужен перерыв. Но она получилась не такой, как планировалось изначально.

C(G)...... Тайсон
сapt Alex Tyson
Cleveland
