R.I.P. to this Missing WWII B-24 Liberator "Little Joe" recently located in Salzwedel, Germany.

Covington airman identified decades after WWII crash, remains to be returned home

On April 8, 1944, he was aboard a B-24H “Liberator” named "Little Joe" when it was shot down by enemy fire during a bombing mission over Brunswick, Germany.

Thanks for the additional link with much more information. Ironically, I lived on Thompson Avenue in Covington, GA in the 1970's down the street from where the Allen's lived in the 1940's.
I accidentally hit the wrong Reply button, I did not intend to copy and repeat cammerjeff's link.
