From the same website I also downloaded the attached booklet of information for USAAF bombardiers. Its a lengthy document. It would take an exceptional individual to be capable of correctly discharging all the duties delineated. No wonder the USAAF switched to the lead bombardier concept. I cannot imagine remembering all this while the flak is bursting around you.
