    I'm looking for what type of radio equipment was installed in the Bell P-59A Airacomet jet?
    and or does anyone have a manual for the Bell P-59?

    Wouldn't it have just been the period radio of the AAF of the time?

    Yes, standard radio equipment, but there are several models that could have been used.
