The Bf 109 K-4 Flugzeug-Handbuch is available from the great Hafner Archiv. This handbook was compiled in Oct '44 and released by Rechlin dated 7 Nov 1944. The document refers to the engine type fitted as the DB 605 DM and gives considerable data about the airframe/engine. However, the detail about the engine is cross-referred to the Motor-Handbuch DB 605 DM. Unfortunately, I have not found any trace of the DB 605 DM Motor Handbuch for reference. I would be grateful if anyone can help with either a location of this information or, any copy of original data.
Thanks

BF-109K operator and maintenance manuals and DB-603 tech manuals including BF-109 IPC, I'm sorry I don't have any DB605 manual.

Thanks for posting all those links m13. Unfortunately, I am looking for the genuine DB 605 DM info, but I doubt I will get anything, it seems to be lost to us!

I strongly object to any books with this watermark being shared on this site, or any other web site.

Udo Hafner is an old man who has spent many years collecting the original manuals sold on his website and who spends many hours scanning, cleaning and collating the manuals into a high quality PDFs using expensive hardware and software.

This is his main source of income so posting his documents on line instead of buying them from him for a very small fee is taking food from his and his wife's table.

You are also removing the any incentive he has for scanning and selling the other manuals in his collection.

There're many other organizations about WWII German tech, including this free website, with many German instruments and radios.
Foundation for German communication and related technologies website, with many original manuals on German WWII radar, including all kinds of German WWII Air radar as well as early warning air-defence radar:

True but the Bf109K-4Teil9A.pdf was from Udo Hafner's site. I did not download any of the other links your provided for that reason so I do not know how many others are his work.

Free sites I have no problems with, and even use - like me they provide their manuals for free. Unfortunately a lot of the free stuff gets pirated by scum sites.

Hmmm,
A tricky topic on "copy" that I would prefer not to divert my request for genuine info about the DB 605 DM, please . I have, of course, purchased all of Udo's relevant material and spoken to him directly - he said he has no further info on the late model DB605's to publish.
At the present time I am compiling a detailed review of DB605 development with a great deal of original material, for free online. Not surprisingly, there are problems with some of the original source material - it is not all available, anywhere. The DB 605 DM is an important stage in the development of the DB 605 and I would like to increase the original data on it that I have, that is why I am asking for help, if anyone has specific archive on the DB 605 DM. Thanks.

Great.

Best of luck with your project and I hope to see it when it is finished.

As a long shot look for American microfilm copies. I suggest that because a lot of Japanese documents that were microfilmed by the Americans is now available from the Japanese Diet web site. I posted two threads on what I found of interest to me.

I would expect that the equivalent German documents are available in Germany or the US.

Smithsonian may be able to point you in the right direction. Reference Services

Thanks,
Well, maybe there is great historical documentation in an archive somewhere but, I have my doubts about it being all there. For one thing, many archives are difficult to access and, copies of material can be expensive, often with reproduction clauses. So, forgive me if my attempts at spreading info are limited by $$$,$$$.
Nonetheless, I have got great material to share on the DB engines, but working with original source information is difficult for some engines. One of those "difficult" engines is the
DB 605 DM, hence my trawl for generous specialist donors.

Thanks for pointing out that, and I didn't know anything about Udo Hafner first, but I found that some documents on this website like German Rocket Manual and EZ 40 gunsight manual, did not come from or could be found on Udo Hafner's website, and I would check more documents on this website before sharing,

Sounds like an excuse for a brief "factfinding holiday" to Germany to me...
